Die Vorlesung
Festkörperpyhsik II behandelt ein wichtiges Standardgebiet der Experimentalpyhsik, welches sowohl von grundlegender Bedeutung ist
als auch zahlreiche Bezüge zu technischen Anwendungen aufweist.
Basierend auf der Vorlesung Festkörperphysik I führt die Vorlesung
Festkörperphysik II in die Grundlagen verschiedener kooperativer
Phänomene von Festkörpern ein.
Die Vorlesung ist eine Pflichtvorlesung für
verschiedene Studiengänge der Physik und eignet sich darüber hinaus als Wahlfachvorlesung für unterschiedliche Studiengänge. Vorausgesetzt
werden die Inhalte der Vorlesung Festkörperphysik I. Die Vorlesung
wird ergänzt durch auf die Vorlesungsinhalte abgestimmte Übungen.
Der Leistungsnachweis
erfolgt in Form einer Modulprüfung zusammen mit der Vorlesung
Atom- und Molekülphysik. Die erbrachte Leistung wird mit 4 benoteten CP
bewertet. Voraussetzung für die Zulassung zur Modulprüfung ist eine
erfolgreiche Teilnahme an den Übungen, die durch eine bestimmte
Anzahl erreichter Übungspunkte nachgewiesen wird.
Die Vorlesung wird bei Bedarf auf Englisch
mit ergänzendem deutschsprachigen Material gehalten.

The lecture Solid State Physics II treats an
important field of experimental physics which is of fundamental as
well as of applied importance. Based on the lecture Solid State
Physics I the lecture Solid State Physics II introduces into the
fundamentals of various cooperative phenomena of solids.
The lecture is mandatory
for different courses related to physics and is additionally
suitable as an elective lecture for various other courses.
Presupposed is a knowledge of all subjects of the lecture on Solid
State Physics I. The lecture will be completed by dedicated
exercises.
A certificate of
achievement is to be obtained orally in a module exam together with
the lecture on Atomic and Molecular Physics. Passing the exam is
worth 4 rated CP. Precondition for a participation in the exam at
the end of the semester is a successful participation in the
exercises. This in turn has to be proven by achieving a certain
number of practice points.
On demand the lecture
will be given in English, however including some German descriptions
on slides and in the accompanying materials.
