Teaching
Advanced Practical - Microwaves

By experimental training, the students will be acquainted with the basics of microwave technology and they will be introduced to the fundamentals and characteristics of the design of microwave antennas. It is expected that the students are familiar with the various important methods of microwave generation (Klystron, Gunn-Oscillator, Tunneling Diodes), to conduct basics measurements of the wavelength, the frequency and the power of microwaves and to be able to design simple microstrip conductors and antennas used in modern microwave technology.
