General Remarks

The oral test is to check the understanding on background physics related to the experiment and is conducted in a free and open discussing atmosphere. There will be no questions on by heart learned or memorized details on Physics. The extensive mathematical or theoretical deductions are also not necessary in this oral test. On the other hand, the importance is given to test the solid understanding of mathematical basis, in the form of vectorial description, differential and integral calculus and also the tensor description. In particular, the questions are related especially to the general knowledge about physics, the improvisation skill, and ability to provide solutions, the knowledge of everyday life examples of physical phenomena and initiatives, of course, to influence the test-process in a certain direction.

Apart from this, discussions on certain details, a general discussion on certain points are gladly offered.
